Two lawyers.One shared journey.
Their shared history began in Nogales, Arizona. The path that followed shaped both the standards they bring to their work and their understanding of what it means to have someone in your corner.
Nogales, Arizona
The courage to dream bigger.
Sofia and Ramon met in high school in Nogales, a small border town in southern Arizona. Neither came from a family of lawyers or had professional connections to guide them into the field. Their ambitions reached beyond what their circumstances made seem possible, and their path into law was one they had to find and build for themselves.
They learned to create opportunities, earn their place, and keep moving through uncertainty. The challenges they faced sharpened their resourcefulness and strengthened their resolve. Each step forward built a confidence grounded in experience: the knowledge that they could enter unfamiliar territory, do demanding work, and rise to the occasion.
Tucson, Arizona
Turning ambition into direction.
College in Tucson expanded their sense of what was possible. What had once seemed distant became a foundation for greater ambitions. They began looking beyond familiar surroundings and toward a profession that would demand analytical rigor, persuasive communication, and the ability to advocate for others. That pursuit eventually took them across the country to law school in Boston.

In Boston, their paths took them through law school, judicial and government work, and litigation practices at Mintz and Robins Kaplan. They worked alongside and learned from some of the city’s most accomplished litigators, in an environment where preparation, judgment, persuasive writing, and strategic thinking were expected at the highest level.
They represented multimillion-dollar companies, including Fortune 500 businesses, as well as insurers and other institutions in complex, high-stakes disputes. That experience gave them an inside understanding of how sophisticated parties assess risk, build arguments, and make consequential decisions—and established standards they bring to every client they represent today.

They founded Ledezma Nuño Law to bring that experience into a practice shaped by their own standards: thoughtful strategy, thorough preparation, and direct responsibility to the people they represent.
